We provide support and resources to the foster community in South Louisiana.

Foster the love has helped me in many ways. First night bags, diapers, wipes, car seats, furniture, essentially everything my babies would need. They have gone out of their way to make sure I have what I need for them. They also come through big for Christmas for children who at times have never experienced a family Christmas. They have truly been a blessing in this last year for my babies. I can’t thank them enough for all they do.

Foster the Love's closet is a true blessing to us and many other foster families. They provide us with a place to get clothes, furniture, diapers, wipes and even books. Once when we were in need of a bed to take in another foster child they found one for us. We love swapping clothes with the closet when the kids outgrow them, it allows us to pass them on to other foster kids who need them.

Foster the Love is a fantastic resource for foster families. If they don’t have what we need they branch out and try to find it for us. Within a day, they had a twin bed for us so our 11 year old girl could have her brother join our home. I’ve asked for last minute “used” bikes and they came up with new ones for our twins’ birthdays. We are always in need of bigger clothes/shoes for our long-term kids and Foster the Love always seems to have something we can use.

We love to see smiling faces on these kids and bring families together for all these events Foster the Love always goes above and beyond to show just that by hosting many events throughout the year. Whether it's a family fun day to back to school and with the biggest event is Christmas. We just want to Thank Foster the Love for everything they do for the kids and show all the love to them.

We can't thank Foster the Love enough for gifting 4 new bikes to 4 kids that have lived their entire life homeless. The smile on their faces are still strong weeks after. These kids have already put lots of miles on those tires. Thanks again to Foster the Love!

Foster The Love has helped me and my family tremendously. When me and my husband first got our 3 foster kids, we needed clothes, shoes, etc. My case worker told me about Foster The Love. When I tell you everything I needed for my girls, they had it, if they didn’t, they would find a way to make sure they got it. They have shoes, clothes, jackets, socks in all different sizes. It saved us a lot of money going shopping for the girls, and it’s free, being that we have 4 older kids of our own. For Christmas we had to fill out a form for each kid, through Foster The Love. Everything I wrote on their list, they got it for Christmas. The employees at Foster The Love are the most friendly — sweeties and lovable. They make you feel at home and comfortable. Everything is very organized and labeled.If you are a foster parent I suggest you go and check them out. You won’t be disappointed at all.
