Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs and events. We hope you’ll join us in serving these needs!

Foster Community Closet clothes rack

Foster Community Closet

We accept donations of new and gently used clothes, shoes, and baby equipment, as well as donations of diapers, wipes, and unopened formula which are distributed to foster families in South Louisiana.

Foster the Love First Nights Bags

First Night Bags

Children often enter foster care with few or no personal items and many foster parents are given limited time to prepare for the arrival of a child placed in their home. Our First Nights Bags are new, reusable, overnight bags that are filled with clothing and hygiene essentials and are given to children as they enter care.

Firm Foundations mattress donations from local family

Firm Foundations

A frequent barrier that prevents foster families from being able to accept sibling groups is the requirement for individual mattresses for each child. Thanks to our donors, Foster the Love assists with providing multiple mattresses quickly as the need arises.
