Individual Opportunities
Foster Community Closet
Weekly volunteer opportunities are available at our Community Closet. From sorting donated clothing and goods, to welcoming foster families in to "shop", our volunteers are critical to keeping this much-used service available for our foster families!
Event Volunteers
We host events for our foster families every year — at Easter, Back To School and Christmas — as well as multiple fundraising events. From pre-event prep, to event day setup and take down, extra hands are always needed!
Planning Committee Members
Have connections in the business community? Great at soliciting sponsors? We need you! Our fundraising committees work behind the scenes to make each of our events a success.
Day-to-Day Support
From assisting with our programs, and seeking grants, to supporting our marketing & social media efforts, your talents are welcome! We're always looking to grow our team of volunteers.
Group Opportunities
Team Building Events
We have many organizations that volunteer with us — from gyms and schools, to employees from local businesses. We have a variety of opportunities for you, such as assembling First Nights Bags, making blankets, or organizing a drive to gather donation items. Sign up, and we will connect with you to discuss how we can partner with you to support our foster community.
Businesses
Do your own or manage a local business? We have many opportunities just for you! Be a designated drop off location for donation items. Host an event to raise funds. Donate gift cards for foster families. Become a sponsor for one of our fundraising events. Have your own idea? Let us know, and we can partner with you to make it happen.
Churches
Churches are in a unique position because they are called to care for the vulnerable. It can be as simple as supporting foster families by offering a meal or to mow their lawn. You could host a small group on caring for the vulnerable or a support group for foster families. As a church you could host a night out or educational training for foster parents.
